The matches in Group C of the 2024 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers will be held at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ).
According to the schedule, the red team will face U23 Guam (September 6), U23 Yemen (September 9) and U23 Singapore (September 12).
On August 27, coach Troussier also announced the list of 35 players summoned for the 2024 U23 Asian qualifiers.
Standing out in this list are names that are familiar to fans such as: Quang Thinh, Tien Long, Tuan Tai, Van Do, Cong Den, Hoang Van Toan or Thanh Nhan.
In addition, a series of players with good performances at the 2023 Southeast Asian U23 tournament were also given opportunities by the French coach, including: Tran Nam Hai, Nguyen Hong Phuc, Luong Duy Cuong, Nguyen Ngoc Thang, Dinh Xuan Tien, Vo Hoang Minh Khoa, Khuat Van Khang, Bui Vi Hao and Nguyen Minh Quang.
