Quang Nam Labor Federation met to celebrate 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

(QNO) - This morning, June 16, the Quang Nam Provincial Labor Federation held a meeting with local and central press agencies to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

At the meeting, Mr. Phan Xuan Quang - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation thanked local and central press agencies for accompanying the trade union organization in many activities in recent times.

The press agencies have contributed to propagating about trade unions and the working class, workers' movements, reflecting activities from the grassroots, trade union organizations in the business sector to propagate good practices, effective models to widely disseminate the Party and State's policies related to trade unions.

According to Mr. Quang, over the past time, the trade union organization has continuously grown in both quantity and quality of activities. In the coming time, the trade union organization will streamline its apparatus but will not reduce the number of union members, as well as outstanding activities to care for the lives of cadres, civil servants and workers.

Therefore, Mr. Quang hopes that the press agencies will continue to accompany the trade union organization after the province's merger, thereby bringing the voices and aspirations of union members and workers as well as legal policies related to trade union organizations to the people.
