Provincial Federation of Labor evaluates activities in the first 6 months of 2025

On the afternoon of June 23, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (PPL) held the 7th Executive Committee Conference (expanded) for the 2023-2028 term and reviewed union activities in the first 6 months of the year, and deployed key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

On behalf of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the medal "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union" to individuals.

The Provincial Federation of Labor currently has over 69,100 cadres, civil servants, public employees (CBCCVC), and workers (NLĐ) participating in 1,047 grassroots unions. In the first 6 months of the year, unions at all levels have closely followed the political tasks of the locality, performed well their functions and tasks to ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. The whole province has 825/827 administrative agencies and public service units organizing conferences of CBCCVC; 905 agencies, units, and enterprises promulgating regulations on implementing democracy at the grassroots level.

Carrying out activities to care for union members and workers, trade unions at all levels have mobilized resources to present over 5,000 gifts with a total value of 4.3 billion VND on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025; supporting the construction of 6 "Union Shelters" with a total amount of 300 million VND. Workers' Month 2025 was effectively implemented with many practical activities. 181 sports and performances were organized, attracting nearly 8,800 workers, civil servants and laborers to participate. Trade unions at all levels have promoted and disseminated learning to improve qualifications for over 27,300 workers, nearly 22,200 people were sent to training and coaching to improve their skills.

Implementing key tasks for the last 6 months of the year, trade unions at all levels focus on advising on innovation, reorganizing the apparatus and personnel work in agencies. Continuing to perform well the representative function of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees. Promoting patriotic emulation movements among employees, achieving achievements to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, focusing on the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers".

On this occasion, 37 individuals were awarded the "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union" medal and certificates of merit for their outstanding achievements in trade union activities.
