Continuing to inform about the military plane crash in Binh Dinh, on the evening of November 6, according to updated information from the Ministry of National Defense , at about 6:45 p.m. the same day, the search and rescue team continued to receive information from the mobile phone of Colonel Pilot Nguyen Van Son, Commander of Regiment 940. Colonel Nguyen Van Son was the second person in the crashed plane.
Currently, authorities are using modern equipment to locate the two pilots to search.

Earlier, at 4:30 p.m., Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Nguyen Hong Quan, Flight Commander (one of the two pilots on the crashed plane) contacted the unit by mobile phone to report that he was on the top of a high mountain (the exact location is unknown due to unstable mobile signal), and in normal health. Currently, the authorities are using modern equipment to locate the two pilots to search.
Earlier, on the same morning, Air Force Regiment 940, Air Force Officer School, Air Defense - Air Force organized a daily training flight at Phu Cat airport, with Yak-130 aircraft (registration number 210D), flying lesson 208, long-distance flight - no-fly zone - through clouds in complex meteorological conditions, led by Colonel Nguyen Van Son, Regiment Commander, flying in the front cabin and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quan, Flight Director, flying in the back cabin. This was the third flight, the second flight of the front cabin pilot in the daily flight.
The plane took off at 9:55 a.m., and at 10:38 a.m., when the flight ended and the plane landed, the pilot reported that the plane's landing gear could not be released. He also took emergency measures to handle the situation but was still unsuccessful. The pilot reported to the flight commander and was allowed to parachute. The two pilots parachuted at 10:51 a.m. at the TB2 Shooting Range, Tay Son, Binh Dinh.
