Binh Thuan Cooperative Alliance participates in trade promotion in the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces in 2025

BTO-On April 24, the delegation of the Cooperative Alliance of Binh Thuan province, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - Chairwoman of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance, participated in the Conference on trade promotion and trade connection of the collective economic sector and cooperatives of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces in 2025 held in Khanh Hoa province.

Attending the conference were Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van - President of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, Deputy Head of the National Steering Committee on Collective Economy ; and more than 200 delegates of the Cooperative Alliance of 15 provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

The conference attracted 50 booths displaying typical local products. These are products that meet VietGAP and OCOP standards, traditional products, handicrafts, typical local products that are processed and packaged, fresh and dried vegetables and fruits, fresh and dried seafood products, herbal products, etc. from provinces and cities in the region. The delegation of Binh Thuan Cooperative Alliance participated in the booth with typical products from dragon fruit (jam, dried fruit, wine, cakes, candy, etc.), melon, cashew nuts, etc.

The conference aims to promote the potential and strengths of provinces and cities; improve the effectiveness of trade promotion, connect supply and demand in production and business activities, and seek to expand the market. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the Cooperative Union of provinces and cities to promote product consumption links, bring safe agricultural products, VietGAP, OCOP certification, typical rural industrial products into the system of stores, supermarkets, and trade centers. Therefore, through the conference, we hope that the Cooperative Union of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces will learn from experience, access science and technology, promote digital transformation, foster knowledge, improve management capacity, innovate thinking, be creative, dare to think, dare to do, innovate content and methods of operation. In addition, focus on the quality of agricultural products, clean and safe food, build strong brands to be competitive in the export market.

On this occasion, the Cooperative Alliance of the Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation to promote trade promotion, connect supply and demand, apply scientific and technological advances, and digital transformation in the collective economic sector and cooperatives in the period 2025 - 2030.
