According to Buddhist tradition, the birth of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is one of the three days of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara's birthday, along with his enlightenment on June 19 and his ordination on September 19 of the lunar calendar. This is an occasion for monks, nuns and Buddhists around the world to remember and honor the great merits of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara - the embodiment of great compassion to save sentient beings from suffering and disaster.

This year, the Fansipan spiritual complex will solemnly organize for the first time the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's Birthday Ceremony from 2:00 p.m. on March 28 (February 19 of the lunar calendar) at Trinh Pagoda - Cable Car Station. The ceremony will be presided over by Venerable Thich Chan Tin - Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Lao Cai Province and other Venerables of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Lao Cai Province. The Venerable and Buddhists will begin with a solemn incense offering procession from Thuong Pagoda to the Avalokitesvara statue. This will be followed by a circumambulation ritual around the great Amitabha Buddha statue - a spiritual wonder that has been awarded a Vietnamese and Asian Record, to express respect and appreciation for the sacred place of Buddha worship.

After the incense offering and Buddha recitation ceremonies, Buddhists will participate in the chanting ceremony at Trinh Pagoda and listen to Venerable Thich Chan Tin convey a meaningful message to deepen the merits of Bodhisattva, pray to Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara for compassion, save sentient beings, and bring peace to humanity. The end of the program will be the Dharma talk and Dedication ceremony.

Attending this festival, people, Buddhists and tourists not only get to meet at Fansipan, the sacred mountain, the great blood vessel of the country to honor the shining example of virtue of the great compassion and great mercy of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, but also enjoy a season of flowers blooming most brilliantly in the Northwest and discover the unique cultural quintessence of Sa Pa ethnic minorities only found in Ban May.

There are few places in the Northwest that gather all the most beautiful and quintessential flower varieties like Fansipan. The most special is the typical rhododendron flower blooming on both sides of the road to the top, making the Hoang Lien Son range look like it is wearing a new, beautiful and poetic coat. Originally a flower that possesses a vibrant beauty mixed with a bit of "power" with many elegant colors, rhododendron flowers are very popular with many tourists who want to come here every April to see with their own eyes the precious "natural products" of the Northwest mountains and forests. It is expected that the flowers will bloom even more brilliantly for the upcoming April 30 - May 1 holiday, promising interesting early summer flower viewing experiences for tourists.

In addition to rhododendrons, this is also the time when Japanese cherry blossoms and white rum flowers "bloom" most brilliantly. Spread from the entrance gate, the clock tower area, the head of the large rose garden to Muong Hoa station of Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area, are 1,000 Japanese cherry trees showing off their sweet, charming beauty with thick clusters of flowers and wide canopy.

Right at the glass door of the Muong Hoa Train Station corridor, visitors will enjoy a romantic European sky of a giant rum flower garden of up to 3,000m2 . The pure, pristine white color of the flowers on the classic design of Muong Hoa Train Station has been a favorite "check-in" backdrop for visitors to Fansipan peak for many years.

In addition to the colorful nature and the cool, "pleasing" weather of the changing seasons, Fansipan peak also treats visitors to unique indigenous cultural experiences at Ban May located in the area of Fansipan Cable Car Station. The place where 11 houses of the Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, Xa Pho, and Ha Nhi people gather will be a gathering space for groups of artisans - the keepers of the national soul and the young generation of the highlands to introduce to visitors the culinary quintessence, handicrafts and the most typical songs and dances of their ethnic groups. Here, visitors, in addition to participating in festival activities and worshiping people of the Northwest ethnic groups, can also interact with people from many highland ethnic groups, sing and dance together, and enjoy a true Northwest space.
