According to People, Charles Robinson, 23, planned to travel from Detroit Metropolitan International Airport to Los Angeles (USA) on June 5 but "missed his flight and was informed at the gate that he needed to rebook his flight."
Robinson then allegedly called Spirit Airlines at around 6:25 a.m. to report a threat. Robinson said he had information about “someone wanting to blow up the airport” and “someone wanting to blow up Flight 2145,” authorities said.

The flight was immediately grounded and passengers and crew were then taken off the plane, the district attorney's office said.
FBI agents and sniffer dogs were deployed to search the plane but "no bombs or explosives were found".
"Law enforcement was present to screen Spirit Airlines flight 2145 prior to departure from Detroit due to a potential security incident. The safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority. The flight then continued on to Los Angeles," a Spirit Airlines spokesperson said.
Robinson eventually boarded another flight. However, he was later arrested and appeared in federal court. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 27.
"Anyone who threatens to bomb an aircraft and endangers public safety will be investigated and prosecuted," said Cheyvoryea Gibson, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Detroit Field Office.
