Starting from 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will stop early admission. All forms of admission must follow the Ministry's general schedule. This year, candidates will officially register for admission and adjust their university admission wishes from July 16 to July 28.

However, many schools have announced that they will start accepting applications based on transcripts from mid-May.

Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment requires all candidates applying for admission based on their academic records to declare their “study results survey” and their wishes to enter the school, expected to open from May 15, so that the school can compile information. The school notes that the survey data declared on this information portal is not valid for official admission.

The University of Construction also said that it will still consider admission according to the general admission plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, but candidates need to register online with the school in advance.

Some other schools also claim to only "collect data early", such as transcripts, international certificates... to prepare for later admission steps.
