LPBank becomes the main companion of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers

(NLDO) - On August 26, VFF and LPBank signed and announced LPBank as the main companion unit of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers - Group C.

Speaking at the event, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Anh Tu highly appreciated the support of Loc Phat Bank ( LPBank ) as the main companion of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers in Vietnam, considering this a meaningful source of encouragement for both the organization and the Vietnam U23 team.

With support from LPBank, careful preparation and the encouragement of fans, VFF expects U23 Vietnam to confidently conquer the goal of winning a ticket to the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Finals, thereby continuing to affirm the position of Vietnamese football in the continental arena.

Mr. Bui Thai Ha, Vice Chairman of LPBank's Board of Directors, stated that LPBank's decision to become the main companion of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers - Group C hosted by Vietnam stems from its belief in the potential and will of the young generation of Vietnamese players.

Through this cooperation, LPBank hopes to work with the VFF to spread the noble sportsmanship spirit, while creating motivation for the Vietnam U23 team to have more favorable conditions and confidently conquer the goal of qualifying for the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Finals. "We also hope that LPBank's companionship will contribute to igniting the flame of enthusiasm in the hearts of millions of fans, especially the young generation of Vietnam - those who will inherit the country's aspirations to reach far" - Mr. Ha expressed.

With the mission of comprehensively accompanying Vietnamese football, LPBank is present at all levels: from clubs, domestic tournaments, to youth teams, U23 and National Teams. This is not only a sense of responsibility but also an effort of LPBank in contributing to raising the level of Vietnamese football.

The matches in Group C - 2026 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers will take place at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ) from September 3 to September 9. To prepare for the race in this group, the Vietnam U23 team will gather again on August 29.

The 2026 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers will feature 44 teams, divided into 11 groups competing in a round-robin format to select the 11 group winners and the four best runners-up to advance to the Finals, which will take place in January 2026 in Saudi Arabia. According to the draw results, the Vietnam U23 team is in Group C with Yemen, Singapore and Bangladesh. Except for Bangladesh, the Yemen and Singapore teams were previously in the same group as the Vietnam U23 team in the 2024 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers, when the Vietnam U23 team won the group with 7 points, qualifying for the finals.
