On the morning of October 12, at Van Mieu Square (Cao Lanh Ward, Dong Thap Province ), more than 12,000 domestic and foreign athletes officially set off to conquer the VPBank Dat Sen Hong Music Marathon 2025.

The above race is one of the largest sports - cultural - culinary events in the Southwest region, organized by Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) and Nexus Media Joint Stock Company (Nexus Sport Events).
The event attracted a large number of athletes from all over the country and more than 20 other countries to attend.
This year’s route is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distances (AIMS), and includes four competition distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km. The total prize value is up to 218 million VND for the individuals and groups with the best achievements.




Unique and strange images at the race
This year's race took the athletes through the typical symbols of Dong Thap such as: from Van Mieu Square, Cao Lanh Bridge to the roads covered with pink lotus flowers. Thereby, the athletes were able to immerse themselves in the beauty of early morning with nature.
Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, said: "This is the first major cultural event held after the merger. The race is not only a physical race but also a symbol of solidarity, progress and an important milestone in the new development journey of the land rich in cultural and historical traditions."




Athletes conquer many roads
On the evening of November 10, VPBank Prime Night music night also took place with the participation of many top artists such as: ISAAC, MONO, CAPTAIN BOY, rapper DLow, Vu Phung Tien... serving athletes and audiences.
The organizers have donated 100 million VND from the prize revenue to the Red-crowned Crane Research and Conservation Fund, a rare bird species associated with the Dong Thap Muoi ecosystem.
In addition, the program also donated 50 million VND to support 1,000 disadvantaged children to experience Sa Dec flower village and the 2nd Sa Dec Ornamental Flower Festival; and donated 100 million VND to people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
