- In the face of prolonged heavy rain causing deep flooding, damaging crops and people's property in some areas of Bac Son district, the Provincial Police deployed forces and vehicles to carry out rescue missions.
Specifically, on the afternoon of June 22, following the order of the Provincial Police Director, the Mobile Police Department mobilized 3 specialized cars, 2 motorboats and 30 officers and soldiers; the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department mobilized 20 officers and soldiers, 2 motorboats, 3 cars to coordinate with the police of Nhat Hoa and Nhat Tien communes of Bac Son district to the flooded area, focusing on Nhat Tien commune (in Tien Hau village alone, Nhat Tien commune, 130 households had their houses deeply submerged in water) to carry out rescue work.
At around 6 p.m. on June 23, motorboats and police officers reached many flooded and potentially dangerous residential areas in Nhat Tien commune, Bac Son district, promptly assisting in evacuating people and property to safety.
After working all night without rest, despite many difficulties due to the large flooded area and far distance between flooded households... with great efforts, by dawn on June 23, the rescue team was able to bring 40 people (including 6 elderly people and 28 children) and many properties to a safe area.
Currently, units are continuing to implement search and rescue work in Nhat Tien commune, Bac Son district.
