| Approximately 500-600 buses arrive and depart from the city's central bus station each day during the National Day holiday on September 2nd. |
Observations over the two days of August 30th and 31st show a significant increase in the number of passengers flocking to the city's central bus station and Da Nang train station compared to normal days.
According to Mr. Doan Kim Tuan, Team Leader of the Passenger Transport Team, Da Nang Railway Transport Branch, on August 30th, the total number of passengers arriving and departing was approximately 6,000, rising to over 7,000 on August 31st. This represents a 2.5-fold increase compared to normal days and a 20-30% increase compared to the same period in previous years.
Part of the reason is that this year the city has launched heritage train tours that attract locals and tourists to experience the scenic spots of Da Nang and neighboring provinces and cities, thereby boosting train and bus ticket sales during the National Day holiday on September 2nd.
To provide the best service experience for residents and tourists, the unit increased its workforce by 100% during the three-day holiday; and coordinated with relevant authorities to ensure that no security, public order, or fire safety issues occurred.
At the same time, the unit has prepared contingency plans for cases of overload before, during, and after the ceremony.

The strongest increase in passengers was on routes to the north, from Quang Tri to Nghe An .
During this period, the city's central bus station also implemented several plans, including: ensuring sufficient personnel; preparing additional vehicles; coordinating with passenger transport units to plan the mobilization and reserve of vehicles for various tasks; and ensuring security, order, and fire safety.

Mr. Le Xuan Quan (Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district) said that passengers at the bus station still have enough seats to wait, and there is no crowding, pushing, or sitting haphazardly in the corridors or walkways.
Bus ticket prices for the September 2nd holiday only increased by about 10-20% compared to normal days. Furthermore, passengers didn't have to wait in line as bus companies proactively increased the number of routes to meet travel demand.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang (Phuoc My ward, Son Tra district) shared that, despite the large number of people at Da Nang train station, she and other passengers were still assigned seats and guided to get tickets by the staff in time for their train transfer.
