According to the My Thuan Project Management Board ( Ministry of Construction ), the board has just sent a plan to the units to organize traffic for component project 1A of the Tan Van-Nhon Trach construction investment project, phase 1, on Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

This component project will be inaugurated on August 19 and officially begin operation from 7:00 a.m. on August 20.

Component Project 1A, invested by My Thuan Project Management Board, is a component of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3.

The project has a main route length of more than 8km, starting at the intersection with DT.25B road in Nhon Trach commune ( Dong Nai province) and ending at the connection with Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway in Long Truong ward (Ho Chi Minh City).

Currently, component project 1A has been completed. Meanwhile, component project 1 (invested by the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board) has only partially completed the intersection connecting to the toll station for the expressway; component project 3 (invested by the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board) has not been completed.

Therefore, My Thuan Project Management Board said that in phase 1 (from now until component 1 and component 3 are completed, expected at the end of 2026), the traffic organization plan from DT.25B to Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway) is like a normal car road, allowing cars and motorbikes to circulate.

Specifically, Dong Nai organizes 2 car lanes and 2 mixed lanes from DT.25B to Nhon Trach bridge (motorbikes are only allowed to travel from DT.25B to Ly Tu Trong street).

Level crossings at 3 existing level crossings (DT.25B, DT.769, Ly Tu Trong street) through temporary roads and traffic organization using a system of signs combined with traffic lights.

Ho Chi Minh City organizes automobile traffic from Nhon Trach Bridge to connect to the expressway intersection. During this phase, trucks over 1.5 tons and passenger cars over 16 seats are prohibited from traveling on the entire project component 1A because the intersection connecting to the toll station for the expressway has not been fully completed.

In phase 2, when the component projects are completed (expected from the end of 2026), traffic will be organized along the entire route according to the scale of the expressway (motor vehicles will circulate on the core part of the 4-lane expressway, mixed vehicles will circulate on the parallel road).

Nhon Trach bridge will operate mixed traffic (2 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed vehicle lanes, with a median strip separating the motor vehicle lane and mixed vehicle lane)./.
