Group visas for tourists traveling to China are cheaper and take less time than individual visas.
Responding to reader Ngan Trang about why people who go on a tour can only apply for a group visa instead of an individual visa, a representative of Flamingo Redtours Travel Company said that a group visa to China costs less than a single visa, the procedure is simple, and the visa issuance time is fast. The procedure for applying for a group visa only requires a passport scan with one photo.
Chinese group visas will be in paper form, attached to the passport for immigration procedures, with the words Republic of China/China Immigration Service/Entry confirmation along with the passport number and expiration date.
If applying for a separate visa, visitors will have to pay a higher fee, the procedure includes many documents according to the regulations of the embassy or consulate, fingerprints must be taken, no appointment can be made during peak times, and the waiting time is long.

In addition, reader Ngan Trang wondered if she wanted to go to other places in the future, for example, applying for an e-visa to Taiwan would be accepted. A representative of Redtours said that Taiwan's e-visa requires visas from countries such as Australia, the US, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and the Schengen area to be able to apply for an e-visa.
