Page Six reported that Jared Leto dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld's pet at the 2023 Met Gala. The actor was inspired by his cat Choupette.

This is Jared Leto's fifth time attending the Met Gala. With the theme Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty , the actor dressed up as the late designer's beloved cat.

Jared Leto's red carpet look surprised rapper Lizzo and actress Anne Hathaway. "To me, Karl Lagerfeld is a kind man. I can imagine him smiling when he sees his beloved cat and the glory he left behind. I am honored to be here," the actor shared.

After his impressive appearance, the actor changed into a black outfit with a silver-tone neckline. He added a rhinestone-studded cape over his shoulders. Jared Leto's outfit was praised for looking impressive but still in line with the event's theme.
