In the first leg, the two teams drew 2-2 and Man United was determined to win at Old Trafford by pushing up the attacking formation right from the start of the match.
Coach Amorim's team created many dangerous opportunities in front of goalkeeper Lucas Perri (Lyon).

Then in the 120th minute, Kobbie Mainoo fired a technical shot from inside the penalty area to equalize 4-4, bringing the Red Devils back from... hell.
Just resurrected from the dead, Man United scored another goal right after with a beautiful header by Harry Maguire in the 120+1 minute.
This goal also officially sent Man United into the semi-finals, when they won 7-6 on aggregate after two matches. Man United's opponent in the upcoming semi-finals is Athletic Bilbao.
Meanwhile, Tottenham also struggled to beat Frankfurt 1-0 in the second leg to book a place in the semi-finals with a 2-1 aggregate victory. In the other semi-final, Tottenham will face Norway's Bodø/Glimt, who overcame Italy's Lazio despite losing the second leg away 3-1.
Chelsea into Conference League semi-finals
Chelsea lost 1-2 to Legia Warsaw at Stamford Bridge in the early morning of April 18 in the second leg of the Conference League quarter-finals. Despite the loss, Chelsea still won a ticket to the semi-finals with a 4-2 aggregate victory after two matches.
In the semi-finals, Chelsea will face Djurgardens, while Real Betis will face Fiorentina.
