Bao Loc mangosteen in harvest season

According to the Economic Department of Bao Loc City, mangosteens in the area have entered the harvest season. Bao Loc mangosteens are harvested in August and September every year, 2-3 months later than the mangosteen crop in the Southwest region. It is known that Bao Loc mangosteens are currently priced at 60-70 thousand VND/kg. In September 2023, Bao Loc mangosteens were granted a certified trademark by the Intellectual Property Office and Bao Loc City is actively developing regulations on the use of the trademark; promoting and widely disseminating so that farmers can register to use the trademark as well as consumers know about the mangosteen brand from the highland city.

It is known that currently in Bao Loc there are 232 hectares of mangosteen; the mangosteen area in the city is increasing steadily, bringing stable income to farmers.
