Many cases of teenagers and students violating traffic safety order were handled by the Traffic Police of Phu Tho Province in September.
In September 2024, the Traffic Police force of Phu Tho Provincial Police temporarily detained 278 vehicles; verified and handled 81 cases of handing over vehicles to underage people.
Faced with the increasing trend of traffic safety law violations and traffic accidents involving students since the beginning of the new school year, in addition to strengthening propaganda,education and dissemination of traffic safety law, the Traffic Police of Phu Tho Province have increased their forces to inspect and handle cases of teenagers and students violating traffic safety law.
Accordingly, from September 1 to 30, 2024, the Traffic Police force of Phu Tho Provincial Police coordinated with the police of communes to organize 196 sessions to disseminate traffic safety laws at 196 educational institutions, with the participation of 104,031 students; inspected and recorded 546 cases of students violating traffic safety laws, temporarily detained 278 vehicles; verified and handled 81 cases of handing over vehicles to people under the legal age to drive.
In the coming time, the Traffic Police of Phu Tho Province will continue to strictly handle cases of teenagers and students violating traffic safety laws.
Therefore, the Traffic Police of Phu Tho Province recommends that parents manage and remind their children to wear helmets properly when participating in traffic; absolutely do not let underage people drive their vehicles.
Previously, in just 2 days, September 25 and 26, 2024, the Traffic Police Department of Phu Tho Provincial Police coordinated with Viet Tri City Police, Tam Nong, Thanh Son, and Doan Hung District Police to conduct surprise inspections at 7 schools in the area, drawing up records to handle 76 cases of students violating traffic safety laws, and temporarily detaining 28 vehicles.
