Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ton Thao said that her mother-in-law's name is So Young (born in 1964), a former gymnast. The first time she experienced a wedding ceremony in Vietnam, she was quite overwhelmed by the 3-day-3-night wedding tradition.

The image of Thao's mother-in-law being sociable and comfortable interacting with neighbors and family members even though they don't understand each other's language has received many compliments. When her daughter-in-law doesn't have an interpreter, she uses body language and apps to communicate.

Ton Thao was surprised to see her mother-in-law quickly adapt to the wedding culture in her hometown. She even showed off her quick and decisive dancing skills, making the atmosphere more joyful.

Currently, the moment Mrs. So Young wore ao dai and danced at her children's wedding attracted 2.2 million views. "Awesome mother-in-law" is the compliment that most internet users gave to Ton Thao.

"Before the wedding day, my mother was so excited that she tried on many ao dai. She found ao dai very graceful, enhancing the beauty of women and also much more comfortable than hanbok. Because the tent was set up at home, all the neighbors showed affection and solidarity," Ton Thao recounted.

Besides the cheerful images, Thao's mother-in-law also couldn't avoid emotional moments. The memory that she remembers most is witnessing Thao's parents handing their daughter over to the groom and her grandmother coming up to give her a gift.

The bride from Ha Tinh said: "My mother said that she felt the love the family had for each other. She also understood the feelings of parents when marrying off their daughter. That made her want to take care of me and love me even more."

Previously, the relationship between Ton Thao and her mother-in-law was admired by many people. Mrs. So Young always showed her love, often drove herself to pick Thao up and took her shopping. She also returned to Vietnam to visit at the invitation of Thao's family.

To have a beautiful marriage like today, Thao and Seung have gone through many challenges. Initially, both families were concerned about the distance issue. The young couple gradually convinced their parents with their stable careers and strong love for each other.

Thao's husband is very much loved by his wife's family because he always tries to learn Vietnamese. Every time he returns to Vietnam, he always shows excitement and wants to stay with this land.
