Messi has just been given a two-week internal suspension after traveling to Saudi Arabia to participate in promotional activities without the consent of PSG's Board of Directors. This punishment could be the last straw, ending El Pulga's future at the Paris club.

According to many sources, Messi and PSG will not renew the contract. The Argentine superstar became a free player after his contract with PSG expired in June this year. In that context, Al Hilal Club really wants to recruit El Pulga.
According to Reuters, the Saudi Arabian team agreed to pay up to 400 million USD per year to invite Messi. This income is double what C. Ronaldo is receiving at Al Nassr Club with 200 million USD per year (including salary, bonus and participation in promotional activities).
Saudi Arabia is racing to host the 2030 World Cup. Therefore, they want to attract influential superstars like Messi or C. Ronaldo to participate in promotional activities for this campaign.

In addition to going to Saudi Arabia, Messi has another option: playing for Inter Miami in the US. Beckham's team really wants to have El Pulga's services. In the US, although Messi's salary is not as high as Saudi Arabia's, it opens up many business opportunities for the Argentine superstar after his career ends.
The possibility of Messi returning to Barcelona is very low. Because the Catalan team is in financial difficulty and can hardly afford the huge salary of superstar number 10.
Recently, many PSG fans gathered at the club's headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt to shout and insult Messi. In response, the Paris team spoke up to defend El Pulga.
"PSG strongly condemns these offensive actions and does not tolerate the inappropriate behavior of a small group of fans. Regardless of the conflict, your actions are inexcusable. We fully support the players, the coaching staff and oppose those involved in this shameful behavior" - PSG released a statement.
