The world-famous culinary guide Michelin has just announced a list of 181 selected eateries and restaurants in three cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
More new names honored by Michelin
The list of one-star Michelin restaurants in Vietnam has increased to 9 (including 1 new restaurant and 1 upgraded restaurant); 63 dining establishments have received the Bib Gourmand award (including 9 new establishments).
In addition to Michelin-starred and Bib Gourmand-awarded restaurants, Michelin Guide reviewers also recommend dining establishments with excellent quality dishes.
The list includes 109 dining establishments listed in the Michelin Guide, with 14 new establishments in three cities.
The new additions to the Michelin-recognized list represent the emergence of promising new names, while also recognizing the stability and sophistication of culinary craftsmanship in Vietnam's three major culinary centers.
"With our team of appraisers, the journey to discover new dining establishments in Vietnam remains as exciting as the first days.
They are constantly inspired by the dedication, creativity and desire for perfection of talented chefs across the country. And they are eager to discover more 'gems' in the years to come," said Mr. Gwendal Poullennec, international director of Michelin Guide.

However, Hanoi has the first restaurant to be named Michelin Green Star (an award honoring initiatives of leading dining establishments in their commitment to reassess their impact on the environment and promote a strong transition in the culinary field towards sustainability) - Lamai Garden.
In the Bib Gourmand category, which introduces dining establishments that offer outstanding quality at reasonable prices, Hanoi has 22/63 establishments (5 new establishments added in 2025).
Owning two brands Ngon Garden and Ngon Restaurant, which have been selected by Michelin three times, Ms. Hanh Pham - the brand owner - shared that the award is a recognition of the entire team on the journey of "preserving and developing Vietnamese culinary values".
"Being named in the Michelin list means that diners' expectations are getting higher and higher. We are fully aware of our responsibility to improve the quality of our dishes and the culinary experience for our customers.
We are steadfast in our commitment to honoring and developing traditional culinary values, but will take new steps to modernize our approach, both in terms of space, technology and service," Ms. Hanh confided.
