Mong Cai: Disbursement value for basic construction reached 17% of the plan

As of May 30, the disbursement value of capital for basic construction investment from the state budget in Mong Cai City reached VND 58,720 million, equivalent to 17% of the annual plan, equal to 80.9% compared to the same period in 2024.

Mong Cai City People's Committee has directed investors to urgently speed up construction progress, especially for projects that have met the conditions for settlement, and required to complete the documents to carry out settlement according to regulations. For projects that have not met the conditions, it is required to strive to complete all construction items, sign the acceptance of AB volume and suspend technical work before June 15, 2025; proactively review the legal documents of the projects and synthesize and prepare complete project documents to be ready for handing over the projects to the provincial Project Management Boards for management in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the same time, the city is also focusing on reviewing the legal documents of the projects, proactively preparing complete documents to hand over to the provincial project management boards under the direction of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.

In the field of public asset management, Mong Cai City has directed the inspection of the current status of existing houses and land facilities, in order to develop a plan to handle surplus assets arising from the merger of units and schools. The overall plan will be submitted to the Department of Finance and the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval according to regulations.
