Leading us to an abandoned, seriously degraded stilt house in the village, Mr. Dinh Huong, Head of Cham Pu village, Thuong Trach commune, quickly wiped his red eyes, then confided: "In this Thuong Trach border area, the majority of the Ma Coong people of Cham Pu village are in difficult circumstances. But the situation of the two orphaned brothers Dinh Khai and Dinh Nhai is among the most difficult in the village. In just 3 consecutive years, their mother Y Chung, father Dinh Chay and third brother Dinh Xo all passed away due to serious illnesses. The two eldest sisters have both married far away, and due to their poor circumstances, they cannot help their younger siblings much; the fourth brother named Dinh So (born in 2009) just finished 9th grade and was forced to drop out of school to work for hire to earn money to support himself and help the two younger brothers Khai and Nhai with their studies...".

Ms. Y Noi, the aunt of the two brothers Dinh Khai and Dinh Nhai confided: "After both parents and the third brother passed away, Khai and Nhai both moved to live with their aunt. Although my circumstances were still difficult, because of my bloodline and my love for the orphans, I tried to work hard to raise them to be good people. Life was lacking, and I didn't have much money to help Khai and Nhai pay for school, but I still encouraged the two children to come to my aunt's house "to eat vegetables when they have vegetables, to eat porridge when they have porridge", and when they went to school, they tried to learn a lot of letters and knowledge to reduce their suffering in the future...".

Mr. Hoang Duc Hoa, Principal of Bo Trach Ethnic Boarding School, said: "Two Ma Coong students, Dinh Khai and Dinh Nhai, are currently studying at the school. During their studies, they have encountered many unfortunate events, their mother, father and brother all passed away due to serious illnesses. The school is very sympathetic and has sent teachers to regularly encourage and support the students to study so that their future will be less miserable. Both Dinh Khai and Dinh Nhai have very strong willpower, are obedient and studious. However, their circumstances are very difficult, and they need the support and help of the entire community so that their path to school will be less precarious...".
