Some households in Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon) have dismantled temporary construction works to await compensation for the Van bridge project.

For the above 2 households, Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee continues to closely monitor, propagate and mobilize households to voluntarily dismantle the construction.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 9, local authorities discovered 4 households building and expanding temporary structures including: water tanks, fences, auxiliary structures... 5-6 other households destroyed rice fields, erected concrete piles, and planted dragon fruit with the purpose of waiting for compensation for the Van Bridge project. The total land area of households planting trees and building temporary structures is nearly 1,000 m².

That very night, the Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee took action. The Chairman of the Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee, along with the Commune Police, land officials, and Party cell secretaries of the villages, went to each house to propagate, mobilize, and request people to dismantle the construction themselves. In addition to the two households that dismantled the temporary construction themselves, 5-6 other households removed all the concrete piles and newly planted dragon fruit, restoring the original state.

Currently, the People's Committee of Quang Thanh commune has assigned cadres to each village to patrol at night and early morning, grasp the situation, promptly prevent similar behaviors, increase propaganda, and raise people's awareness.

The investment project to build the Van road and bridge connecting National Highway 37 (Chi Linh City) with the approach road to Trieu Bridge (Kinh Mon) has been approved by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province. The project implementation period is in the period of 2021-2025 and the period of 2026-2030. Part of the project passes through Tan Dan ward (Chi Linh City), part of it belongs to Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon). The total implementation cost is more than 1,296 billion VND, from the provincial budget, with the Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.
