MU easily completes all record-breaking deals

Wealthy club Al-Hilal are closing in on a deal to sign Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United.

Fernandes is on his way out of MU to join the Saudi Pro League.

Although they have not yet made an official offer to MU, Al-Hilal has started negotiations with the Portuguese midfielder's representatives and wants a final answer before Friday this week. MU is ready to listen to offers if the 30-year-old star is determined to leave.

Fernandes now wants to consult his family before making a final decision. The transfer saga is expected to be concluded in the coming days or weeks. Notably, after a busy week, transfer expert Ben Jacobs revealed that Al-Hilal are likely to sign Fernandes.

Al-Hilal are willing to spend around £100m to own Fernandes. This price may make Man United consider, especially in the context of tight finances. "Fernandes is likely to move to the Saudi Pro League to play football," Marca further confirmed.

If the deal goes through, Fernandes will become the most expensive transfer in MU history. Ronaldo currently holds that record when he joined Real Madrid in 2009 for £80 million.

Failure to qualify for next season's European Cup after losing to Tottenham in the Europa League final has severely affected MU's summer transfer plans, forcing them to sell players to reinvest in the squad.

In addition to Fernandes, the Manchester team also hopes to increase the transfer budget from the sale of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony. Meanwhile, coach Ruben Amorim has informed Alejandro Garnacho to find a new destination.

After recruiting Matheus Cunha from Wolves, MU has more reason to accelerate the player liquidation plan in the summer of 2025.
