According to Thanh Nien at 12 noon today, January 31 (the third day of Tet), the central roads of Ho Chi Minh City and its surrounding areas were bustling with traffic, unlike the deserted first day of the year. On the road, many people went with their relatives to wish everyone a happy new year, while others were still working hard to make a living as shippers, technology drivers, etc.

On the third day of Tet, Cach Mang Thang Tam Street (District 3) was more crowded. However, traffic was still very smooth.

On the third day of Tet, except for the shops that sell during Tet, some other shops also started to reopen. Among them, there is a Korean restaurant on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street (District 3). Accordingly, this restaurant announced that it would be closed from January 26 to 30 and would reopen today, January 31, the third day of Tet.

Visiting this restaurant at noon, Ms. Ngoc Han (20 years old, living in District 8) said that on the 3rd day of Tet, she and her friends went out to the center and decided to stop by here to eat because the price was reasonable. According to the girl, if the street was a bit deserted on the 1st day, now it is starting to get more crowded.

"On the way here, I saw a lot of traffic, especially on Highway 50 near my house. For many people, Tet is over after the first day of the lunar new year, people are starting to go back to work, and I see more technology drivers and shippers on the streets," she shared.

Ms. Han said that in the past few days, most of her usual shops have been closed for Tet, but finding a replacement shop is not too difficult. She said she really likes the smooth traffic in Ho Chi Minh City these days.

Having just finished a trip from Binh Chanh District to District 3, Mr. Tai said that today the streets were a bit more crowded than the previous days. However, he commented that although there were more vehicles, the clear roads made his work easier.

"In a few days, after Tet, everything will be back to normal, the roads will be more crowded and traffic jams. So I'm enjoying Ho Chi Minh City these days, everything is extremely pleasant. This Tet, I'll work through Tet, but on the first day, I'll take it easy, and on the second day, I'll start working again," he added.
