In 2023, Ninh Binh Tax Department will collect nearly 14,000 billion VND in budget revenue

In particular, promptly deploy mechanisms and policies to support people and businesses in recovering and developing production and business. Effectively carry out propaganda and support for taxpayers; continue to apply information technology and build products to support taxpayers electronically to further enhance efficiency and interaction between tax authorities and taxpayers. In addition, the Ninh Binh Provincial Tax Department has also directed and implemented synchronously and drastically measures to collect and enforce taxes, striving to achieve the goal of reducing tax arrears; continuing to maintain the public disclosure of 1,702 taxpayers with tax arrears (VND 5,691 billion) on mass media, promoting the sense of responsibility of leaders.

Issued 861,775 tax debt notices to taxpayers (reaching 100%); sent 8,481 tax debt notices to business owners/legal representatives of businesses to notify and urge tax debt collection; issued 5,196 decisions to enforce money withdrawal from accounts and 491 decisions to stop using invoices; temporarily suspended the exit of 39 individuals who are legal representatives of businesses subject to tax debt enforcement.

The 2023 budget revenue managed by the Tax Department reached VND 13,929 billion, reaching 81.7% of the ordinance estimate, reaching 77.2% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, equal to 72.1% over the same period. Of which: Revenue from taxes, fees, charges and other budget revenues reached VND 12,226 billion; land use fee revenue reached VND 1,703 billion.

2024 is a breakthrough year to complete the 5-year Plan 2021 - 2025 in the context of many socio -economic difficulties. Ninh Binh Tax Department is assigned a budget revenue estimate of more than 15 trillion VND; of which domestic revenue excluding land use fees is more than 11,313 billion VND; land use fees are 3,700 billion VND.

To ensure the completion of assigned tasks, the Provincial Tax Department continues to focus resources, drastically and synchronously deploy solutions to manage tax collection, recover tax debts, and prevent budget losses. At the same time, focus on strengthening discipline, order, and raising the sense of responsibility of cadres and civil servants in performing public duties and effectively implementing the work of preventing and combating corruption; saving and combating waste; promoting training, fostering and improving the quality of human resources in the Tax sector, contributing to the excellent completion of assigned political tasks.
