In 2023, Song Bung Hydropower Plant achieved a profit of 164.5 billion VND

(QNO) - Song Bung Hydropower Company has just held a conference to summarize the work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

In 2023, Song Bung Hydropower Company   Manage the operation of the two hydropower plants Song Bung 2 & Song Bung 4 to ensure safety and efficiency. The company has achieved a profit of 164.5 billion VND (the plan is 146 billion VND, reaching 113%). The generators are always ready to meet the demand for power generation. Operate and regulate water to serve production and daily life needs in the dry season and participate in effectively cutting and reducing floods downstream in the rainy season, reaching 88.92 million cubic meters.

By December 31, 2023, the company had stored water on the two hydropower reservoirs Song Bung 2 & Song Bung 4 in preparation for the dry season of 2024. In addition, the work of ensuring social security and caring for people in the projects has always been of special concern to Song Bung Hydropower Company, with the total cost of social security activities in 2023 being nearly 1.5 billion VND. The company considers these activities as a responsibility to the community and society.

With its achievements, Song Bung Hydropower Company was honored to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag from Vietnam Electricity Group and the title of typical enterprise from the Provincial People's Committee.

Song Bung Hydropower Company has approved the goals, tasks and solutions to implement the 2024 plan on production and business; technical and economic indicators; indicators to improve labor productivity and reduce operating costs; major repairs and electricity market; natural disaster prevention and search and rescue, labor safety, environmental protection, etc.
