Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Director of Song Bung Hydropower Company, reported in detail to the inspection team about the current status of the project, inspection results, management, maintenance, and disaster prevention plans for 2025.
The working delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the management and safe operation of the dam reservoir of Song Bung 4 Hydropower Plant. The unit has strictly complied with legal regulations, technical requirements and professional procedures in the management of dam and reservoir safety.
Song Bung Hydropower Company has proactively and effectively implemented periodic inspection and maintenance work to promptly detect and handle technical problems, contributing to ensuring safe operation of the project, preventing incidents due to subjective factors.
Mr. Trinh Van Thuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Industrial Safety and Environment, requested Song Bung Hydropower Company to continue to maintain and improve the work of periodic maintenance and repair of works and equipment; review, update and complete the single reservoir and inter-reservoir operation procedures, ensuring that they are suitable for actual conditions.
Strictly comply with the directions of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on ensuring safe and effective electricity supply during the dry season of 2025; proactively coordinate with the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue at all levels in flood control and emergency response.
