Ha Tinh female student conquers Miss Pedagogy crown

Surpassing many contestants, Nguyen Tong Hieu Thuong excellently won the title of Miss Pedagogy - Miss HNUE 2025.

On the evening of October 20, the moment the name Nguyen Tong Hieu Thuong was called in the final night of Miss Pedagogy - Miss HNUE 2025, it made the emotions explode on the stage and in the heart of the little girl from Ha Tinh. Surpassing 20 excellent candidates representing 20 faculties of Hanoi National University of Education, the female student (born in 2005) from Tan Phu village, Thien Cam commune touched the prestigious crown.

Hieu Thuong is currently a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Biology, majoring in Biology Education - Hanoi National University of Education. For Thuong, this position is not only a personal pride, but also the result of a long journey of diligent training, maturity and constantly discovering one's own limits.

The young girl sees Miss HNUE not as a pageant of flashy beauty but as a “laboratory” of bravery, where intelligence is tempered and compassion is spread. Carrying on her shoulders the responsibility of representing thousands of pedagogical students does not allow her to stop at appearance but must demonstrate the depth of knowledge and confidence of a future teacher.

“The crown is a recognition, but the message I want to spread is the image of a generation of teachers who are dynamic, knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm for dedication” - Hieu Thuong shared.

When deciding to register for the Miss Pedagogy contest, Hieu Thuong said she just wanted to try and gain experience, not focusing on the results. “I consider each competition as an opportunity to learn and express myself. No matter the result, the most important thing is that I dared to try and tried my best,” Hieu Thuong confided.

It was this spirit that helped the Ha Tinh girl turn stressful practice sessions and hard-working study hours into motivation to move forward. Throughout the competition, Hieu Thuong left a strong impression on the judges and the audience. The female student impressed with her natural, approachable demeanor, along with her calmness and clarity in her performance in each part of the competition.

Hieu Thuong is always active in faculty and school activities.

Not only possessing a bright face and a gentle smile, the female student also conquered the audience with her confidence and maturity rarely seen in her twenties and her ability to express herself clearly and deeply. In particular, in the behavioral round, Hieu Thuong demonstrated a sharp, humane mindset, demonstrating thorough preparation in both knowledge and soul. It was this harmonious combination of "heart - talent - beauty" that helped the young girl from Ha Tinh step up to the highest position in a worthy manner, not only with her physical beauty but also with the weight of her pedagogical intelligence.

For Hieu Thuong, the title of Miss is a great joy, but also a reminder of the responsibility to live and study better. Thuong confided: “After the contest, what I cherish most is meeting many people, learning more from talented friends and sisters. I want to use my image to spread the positive spirit, responsible living and continuous learning of pedagogical students.”

Born and raised in the coastal area of Thien Cam, Hieu Thuong was raised in the love of her family and the harmony and simplicity of her hometown people, which helped the female student form perseverance and independence from an early age. Since childhood, the female student loved natural sciences, especially Biology. During her years at Cam Xuyen High School, Hieu Thuong was always a student with good achievements, a member of the provincial excellent student team in Biology. In addition, she was also an active union cadre, once held the position of Secretary of the Youth Union and was admitted to the Party at the school.

Hieu Thuong was honored to represent the school's students to give a speech of gratitude at the rally celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day of Hanoi National University of Education.

Her love for Biology and deep affection for the teaching profession led Hieu Thuong to choose to study at Hanoi National University of Education - the school that the female student calls "the place where her dream journey begins".

During her first years at university, Hieu Thuong quickly became an energetic student, actively participating in union and association activities. The female student actively participated in volunteer programs, events and student movements. Thanks to her progressive spirit and seriousness in studying, Hieu Thuong always maintained excellent academic results, continuously receiving certificates of merit for excellent students from the Principal in her first and second years. In addition, Hieu Thuong was also elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Union and Vice President of the Biology Faculty Union.

After the competition ended, Hieu Thuong quickly returned to normal student life, continuously participating in faculty activities and spending time on upcoming study plans. With a GPA of 3.5/4.0 and excellent training scores, Hieu Thuong aims to continue maintaining his academic achievements and accumulate more teaching experience.

Hieu Thuong always strives to improve his knowledge to become an enthusiastic teacher.

Hieu Thuong believes that the crown is the milestone, the lecture hall and the podium are the destination. “In the future, I want to become a teacher with good professional skills, who can inspire students to learn. I think that teachers not only teach knowledge but also teach how to live and how to think” - the female student shared.

Looking back on the past, Nguyen Tong Hieu Thuong believes that the most important thing is not the title, but the process of striving to grow and the positive changes in oneself. From a small coastal student to an outstanding student of Hanoi National University of Education, that journey was built with persistent efforts every day.
