On the afternoon of October 24, the Vietnam Women's Union coordinated with the Ha Tinh Women's Union to organize a training course on implementing the "3 clean" model to build a bright - green - clean, safe rural landscape for women and children.
Attending the training were more than 100 delegates who were branch officials and women's union members of Tran Phu ward and communes of Thach Khe, Mai Phu, Thach Xuan, Cam Binh, and Hong Loc.

At the training session, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ha Tinh Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department presented important topics: improving knowledge about waste and the environment; providing guidance on waste classification and treatment at households; minimizing single-use plastic waste; ensuring food safety and hygiene with the "10 golden principles" in safe food processing.

Through the course, students are equipped with more knowledge about environmental protection, identifying the impact of pollution and the benefits of sorting waste at source. In addition, students are also instructed in skills to organize and implement the “3 clean” model – clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley – suitable for the actual conditions in each locality.
The training activities contribute to enhancing the role and responsibility of women in environmental protection, spreading the "3 clean" movement associated with the goal of building a new countryside that is bright - green - clean - safe, sustainable and imbued with identity.
