4 Ha Tinh candidates won prizes at the tour guide competition

(Baohatinh.vn) - At the 2025 North Central Coast tourism guide competition, the Ha Tinh delegation with 4 contestants won 2 third prizes, 2 consolation prizes and 1 prize for the smartest tour guide.

On the evening of October 23, at Lam Son Traditional Arts Theater (Thanh Hoa province), the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the 2025 North Central Coast Tourism Guide Competition took place.

The contest is hosted by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, in coordination with the Department of Tourism/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the following localities: Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri and Son La. This is a practical activity to implement the agreement on tourism development cooperation between the extended North Central provinces, contributing to improving the quality of human resources, promoting the image and tourism brand of localities in the region.

The organizers awarded prizes to the third prize winners, of which Ha Tinh delegation had 2 third prizes.

The contest was attended by 25 excellent contestants, representing more than 2,000 tour guides from the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Son La, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Of which, Ha Tinh delegation had 4 contestants participating in the final round.

The contestants went through 5 rounds including: greeting; knowledge; explanation and handling of situations; talent. The rounds were organized enthusiastically and creatively, helping the contestants demonstrate their professional qualities, professional knowledge and ability to respond flexibly in practice.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 2 first prizes to Mr. Do Van Dam, tour guide of Son La province and Ms. Hoang Thi Hien, tour guide of Thanh Hoa province; 5 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 11 consolation prizes and 5 secondary prizes (including: Golden intelligence tour guide; Inspirational tour guide; Impressive performance tour guide; Smartest tour guide and Most talented tour guide).

Ha Tinh delegation with 4 contestants won 2 third prizes, 2 consolation prizes and 1 prize for the smartest tour guide.

The organizing committee awarded consolation prizes to the contestants, of which Ha Tinh delegation had 2 consolation prizes.

Participating in the contest is an opportunity for Ha Tinh tour guides to exchange, learn, share experiences, improve professional skills; at the same time affirm the capacity, style and image of Ha Tinh tourism workers in the open North Central region.
