Quang Ninh completes merger of public educational institutions

GD&TĐ - As of October 24, Quang Ninh province has completed the arrangement and merger of preschool, general education, and continuing education facilities.

On October 23, Mao Khe ward was the last locality to complete the arrangement and merger of public educational institutions, reducing from 20 schools to 10 schools, and at the same time reducing 10 principal positions.

The streamlining is carefully researched and calculated, ensuring compliance with regulations and appropriateness to the actual conditions of each locality, with the core goal of improving the quality of teaching and learning, for the benefit of students.

The management staff after the rearrangement is selected based on capacity, reputation and work efficiency, thereby creating a premise for the education system to operate more effectively and continue to improve the quality of comprehensive education.

Thus, except for the two communes of Hai Hoa and Cai Chien, which do not have any educational facilities subject to reorganization due to previous streamlining, by October 24, all localities in the province had completed the reorganization, merger, and issued merger decisions, transfer decisions, and appointment of leadership and management personnel for public educational facilities in the area.

Accordingly, at the commune level, 520 schools were arranged into 255 schools, reducing 265 schools, reaching a rate of 51%.

In the block under the Department of Education and Training, reduce 15 educational facilities according to the province's plan.

The merger and rearrangement of schools and educational facilities does not reduce or affect students' learning compared to before, but is only suitable for the practical operation of the 2-level local government model.

Teaching for teachers, especially learning for students, will continue as usual at the current school, with no changes to classes, teachers, or schedules.

Notably, during the implementation process, many managers proactively and voluntarily gave up their leadership positions to young, capable and ambitious cadres.
