On the morning of October 24th, An Duong ward organized a workshop on "Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in organizing educational activities for preschool children." This city-level workshop was held using a combination of in-person and online formats.
Attending the workshop were Mr. Vu Tri Quang, Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, along with leaders of specialized departments under the Department; Ms. Tran Thi Quynh Trang, Secretary of the Party Committee of An Duong Ward; Mr. Bui Tien Phong, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Duong Ward, along with leaders of specialized departments under the ward and preschools in the area.
Nearly 500 preschool teachers attended the workshop in person at the An Duong Ward Cultural Center, representing 596 preschools and 451 independent private preschools throughout Hai Phong city; 596 other preschools participated online via video link.

During the workshop, delegates listened to a report titled "An Duong Preschool Education - Breaking Through with Artificial Intelligence (AI)"; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a teacher at Dang Cuong Preschool, presented on designing an AI virtual assistant to support preschool teachers in preparing lesson plans. And then there was a class session by Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thao, a teacher at An Duong Preschool, with the activity "The Magical Kingdom of Emotions".
Mr. Bui Tien Phong, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Duong Ward, shared that currently, in the context of the Education and Training sector implementing breakthrough resolutions and policies in accordance with Resolution 71-NQ/TW, with a focus on reforming management thinking towards a modern governance model, enhancing competitiveness and the quality of human resources, and expanding international cooperation and integration, this is an important guiding principle that helps the education sector continuously innovate and create, affirming its pioneering role in building a learning society and developing well-rounded individuals.
Today's topic is a vivid testament to that spirit of innovation, demonstrating the industry's determination to make technology and artificial intelligence powerful tools in organizing educational activities, helping preschool children to have early access to creative, flexible thinking and digital integration.
Continuing the long-standing tradition of local education, the quality of education and training in An Duong ward continues to be maintained and developed, with improved overall educational quality; the quality of preschool education consistently ranks among the top in the city.

To meet the needs of innovation and digital transformation in education, many schools in An Duong ward have put into use smart classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, wireless connectivity devices, and teaching support software to help students learn more visually, vividly, and effectively.
AI has been applied in teaching – from grading assignments and tracking learning progress to analyzing individual abilities and suggesting suitable learning paths.
Each school in An Duong ward strives to build at least one smart classroom. By 2030, the ward aims to be a shining example in the city for building smart preschool models, moving towards piloting the socialist school model.
Following the administrative reorganization, the scale and network of schools in An Duong ward have become increasingly stable and developed, meeting the socio-economic development needs of the locality. There are a total of 27 preschool and primary/secondary schools, with nearly 22,500 students in 566 classes; the preschool level has 10 schools and 7 independent kindergartens/preschool classes with a total of 4,010 children in 135 classes. 100% of public preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools meet national standards – a milestone affirming the systematic and effective investment and attention of the local education sector.
