On the morning of October 23rd, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and T&T Group Joint Stock Company (the sponsor of the fireworks display) donated 1,075,000,000 VND to the representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city to support people affected by typhoons and floods No. 10 and No. 11.
Of that amount, 1 billion VND was transferred from the cancellation of the fireworks display. Commemoration ceremony for the 725th anniversary of the death of national hero Tran Hung Dao. and the opening of the Con Son - Kiet Bac Autumn Festival in 2025, sponsored by T&T Group Joint Stock Company.
75 million VND is the amount that the Con Son - Kiet Bac Relic Management Board organized a fundraising campaign to collect from the people and tourists attending the Con Son - Kiet Bac Autumn Festival in 2025, in order to jointly help people affected by natural disasters.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr. Vu Dinh Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “The Con Son - Kiet Bac World Cultural Heritage site is not only a spiritual destination but also a place that spreads the spirit of compassion and national solidarity. Every contribution from sponsors, tourists, and Buddhists is a great encouragement, helping to share and assist people in disaster-stricken areas to overcome difficulties.”
This meaningful activity contributes to spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among units, businesses, the people of Hai Phong city and visitors from all over, and is an impressive highlight in the series of cultural events at the Con Son - Kiet Bac Autumn Festival 2025, affirming the spirit of "Festivals linked with social responsibility, heritage accompanying the community".
