In a recent announcement, Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank) said it is looking for a partner to organize an auction of assets including all rights and benefits (land use rights, development rights, project exploitation rights and other rights) arising from the Con Bap Eco- tourism Project (commercial name: Hoian d'Or), owned by Con Bap Eco-tourism Company Limited.

The project is located in Hoi An Tay ward, Da Nang city (formerly Cam An ward, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province).

The starting price of the assets that Nam A Bank wants to collect is 3,979 billion VND.

Con Bap Eco-Tourism Company Limited is a member of BCG Land (stock code: BCR), an enterprise belonging to the Bamboo Capital ecosystem (stock code: BCG).

The company has a charter capital of VND 398 billion, of which BCG Land is the parent company holding 50.1% of shares as of December 31, 2024.

This enterprise is mortgaging its shares owned at Con Bap Hoi An Eco-Tourism Company Limited for a bond lot of 2,500 billion VND.

At the end of February 2025, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) issued a notice to temporarily suspend trading of this VND 2,500 billion bond lot of BCG Land.

Regarding the Con Bap eco-tourism project, in 2010, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province leased land to Con Bap Hoi An Eco-tourism Company Limited to build the project.

According to the approved planning, the Con Bap project has a total area of about 27.5 hectares; of which, the project construction land is about 24.5 hectares, and the river protection corridor land is about 3 hectares.

In April 2021, the project started construction, with the commercial name Hoian d'Or, with a total investment of 3,959 billion VND. The project includes 52 villas, 300 condotels, 202 shophouses, a 272-room 5-star hotel, a 193-room boutique hotel...

Phase 1 of the project includes 202 shophouses that have been completed and will be gradually handed over to customers from September 2022.

However, phase 2 of the project is on hold.

In addition to the above debt, Nam A Bank is also dealing with trillion-dollar debts of BCG and businesses in the ecosystem.
