Thai actor wears "torn shirt", costs nearly 20 million VND

Recently, Thai actor PP Krit (Krit Amnuaydechkorn) was seen appearing in a tank top from luxury fashion brand Balenciaga.

The black stretch tank top has the word “Standard” printed across the front. The sides of the shirt are ripped, exposing part of the wearer’s body. The Standard Ripped Tank Top is currently selling for $750 on the website.

As soon as the image of PP Krit wearing the torn shirt was shared, many people left comments about this design. Some people said they would not buy the product, even if they had the money. They said that the torn appearance made the shirt look like... a rag but it was expensive.

Others say the Spanish brand's products are unique because of their eccentricity and they often come with a hefty price tag.

However, PP Krit is the brand ambassador. Fans believe that the actor, born in 1999, promoting the brand's new products shows his respect for the brand. In addition, this is a way for the ambassador to promote and represent the brand.

In 2023, PP Krit was appointed ambassador of the Spanish brand. At the 54th haute couture collection show last July, the actor was one of the models walking the runway of the fashion house. Previously, he had walked for the brand in the Spring Summer 2025 collection.

In addition to the black version, the brand also has a gray shirt with a similar design but without the words on the front. This version is currently sold for $695 (more than 18 million VND).

Not long ago, a bag from this collection was also the topic of discussion on social media. The bag is called Marché Packable, and is currently retailing for $995 (over 26 million VND). The front of the bag is printed with the brand logo, two store addresses in Paris (France) and detailed information about the website.

This would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that the bag looks like a regular plastic bag from the supermarket. The design is also creased to give it a used look, even though it’s brand new.

Most plastic supermarket bags are usually made from polyethylene (a common type of plastic), the Spanish fashion house's products are made from polyamide (a synthetic polymer, also known as nylon) and Dyneema (a super-durable, super-light synthetic fiber).

The company says the bag is medium in size and can hold all the essentials with a maximum weight of 10kg.
