Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports will review the content of the Ninh Duong Story fan meeting.

The fan meeting event of the couple Nguyen Tung Duong and Ninh Anh Bui in Ho Chi Minh City is attracting much public attention and debate. Regarding this issue, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City has given an official response.

On the afternoon of September 18, at a press conference on the socio -economic situation in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City responded regarding the licensing of a fan meeting for the duo Ninh Duong Story (including Ninh Anh Bui and Nguyen Tung Duong).

Ninh Anh Bui and Nguyen Tung Duong caused controversy when they organized a fan meeting and sold tickets for up to 2.8 million VND/person.

According to the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, on September 3, 2025, the Department received Document No. 030925/TB-CV from The Bros Vietnam Joint Stock Company, requesting to organize the program "Exchange with Nguyen Tung Duong and Ninh Anh Bui". Based on the application for permission and the regulations in Decree 144/2020/ND-CP of the Government on performing arts activities, the Department issued Document No. 2785/SVHTT-NT dated September 11, 2025, approving the unit to organize performing arts as requested.

The program's content includes songs that have been reviewed and popularized in many previous programs. For the performance and interaction with the audience, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated with relevant agencies to work with The Bros Vietnam Company, requesting additional security plans, interaction scripts as well as other activities to ensure the conditions for the event to take place safely and in accordance with regulations.

"Currently, the agencies are coordinating with the organizing unit to appraise the content as requested; at the same time, reviewing the program and checking the assurance plans prepared by the organizing unit," said the Department.

In response to questions related to ticket sales, products sold at the fan meeting and advertising content about the fan meeting, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City added: "The program 'Exchange with Nguyen Tung Duong and Ninh Anh Bui' does not carry out administrative procedures on advertising activities. Content with other commercial elements is not under the state management function of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City".

In recent days, the event that influencer/KOL duo Ninh Duong Story posted information about selling tickets for a fan meeting, scheduled to take place on September 27 in Ho Chi Minh City, received mixed reactions from the public.

Notably, the ticket prices ranging from 595,000 VND to 2.8 million VND are considered relatively high. Many people think that this price is "as high as a concert", especially when Ninh Duong Story is considered an influencer/KOL, not a professional artist, so it is difficult to bring professional performances. Netizens questioned the entertainment performances at this fan meeting. Some opinions also said that the couple is increasingly "commercializing" love or "selling" their love story.

However, a group of Ninh Duong Story fans spoke up to defend their idol. They said that the high ticket prices were acceptable given the large investment by the organization. They also affirmed that they were willing to spend money to buy tickets to attend the fan meeting.

Faced with many conflicting opinions, Ninh Duong Story is still keeping silent.
