According to the report, the target set by 2030 is to strive for an average GDP growth rate of over 8%/year in the 2021-2030 period, of which the 2026-2030 period will reach 10%/year or more; by 2030, GDP per capita at current prices will reach about 8,500 USD.
In the period 2031 - 2050, strive for a GDP growth rate of about 7 - 7.5%/year. GDP per capita at current prices by 2050 will reach about 38,000 USD.

Regarding the zoning and development orientation of the 6 socio-economic regions, the Economic and Financial Committee stated that due to the arrangement of administrative units, the structure and scope of each region have large changes in the number of provincial-level administrative units, and the scale of area and population.

The review agency proposed to clarify how the new zoning plan will impact and influence the development orientation of each region; and assess the internal connectivity of each region.
