Nam Dinh recruits Palestinian player, new season's personnel includes more than just strikers taller than 2m

With the goal of successfully defending the V-League championship, Nam Dinh Club continuously recruits quality new players.

On July 26, Nam Dinh Club announced: " Welcome Mahmoud Eid to join the Nam Dinh Green Steel family. Mahmoud Eid, born on June 26, 1993, plays as a winger and is of Palestinian nationality. Before moving to Nam Dinh Green Steel, he played football in Sweden, Denmark, Indonesia, Qatar, Bahrain, Thailand... Mahmoud Eid is currently a player of the Palestine national team.

With extensive experience and understanding of Asian football, Mahmoud Eid is expected to help Nam Dinh Blue Steel increase its attacking strength, in the context of the team competing in 5 arenas: National Super Cup, V-League, National Cup, AFC Champions League Two, ASEAN Club Championship".

Recently, Nam Dinh FC signed Kyle Hudlin - a "giant" in attack, born on June 15, 2000, a British national and playing as a striker. With an impressive height of 2.01 m, he is one of the tallest strikers ever to play in the V-League.

Nam Dinh also recruited Njabulo Blom – a former South African player, born on December 11, 1999. Njabulo Blom plays in the central midfield position. Blom is a familiar face to MLS fans as he used to play for St.Louis CITY SC – a rising team in the US professional league.

Up to this point, Nam Dinh team has 9 foreign players, 1 overseas Vietnamese player (Pham Ba) and 1 naturalized player (Xuan Son).

On July 25, FIFA President sent a letter to VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan, congratulating the Nam Dinh team. In the letter, FIFA President Gianni I said: “Through this letter, I am very pleased to congratulate the new champion of Vietnam - Nam Dinh Steel Club. Their persistent efforts and achievements throughout the season have been rewarded with this important title. Congratulations to each member of the team and the club for this great achievement."
