11th grade male student was beaten up by classmate and had to be hospitalized

On October 12, a clip of school violence went viral on Facebook, causing a stir among the public in Quang Binh . In the clip, a male student was brutally beaten by two classmates in the classroom.

According to the investigation, the incident happened at Bac Son Secondary and High School, Tuyen Hoa District, Quang Binh Province. The male student who was beaten was BVK, an 11th grade student.

K. told his family that he was beaten during recess. The two male students who beat K. were MTQ (grade 11.2) and PTT (grade 11.4), from Bac Son Secondary and High School.

After being beaten, K. was taken to the school union office with symptoms of headache, dizziness, and nausea. The family then took K. to the hospital for treatment.

"My brother has been threatened and beaten many times and once intended to drop out of school because of school violence. His family encouraged him to continue going to school. After this incident, we hope that the authorities will handle it strictly so that similar cases do not happen again," said Bui Thi Thanh Ha, indignantly.

Regarding the incident, Mr. Tran Xuan Bach, Principal of Bac Son Secondary and High School, said that the school has grasped and worked with the students and their families, and reported it to the police. The authorities have also stepped in to resolve the matter.

According to Mr. Bach, after receiving the conclusion from the police, the school will hold a meeting and take steps to handle and discipline the offending student.
