"Please" pass the medical exam

Since his first year at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Huy has achieved the title of "5 Good Students of the Faculty of Medicine". The 20-year-old man said that these days, outside the high school graduation exam site, he often talks to parents who are waiting for their children. Every parent is anxiously waiting for their children, not knowing if their children can do the test, how the exam is going... When talking to parents, he notices many mental health issues of the parents of the candidates.
For example, many parents are worried, stressed, and have trouble sleeping during their children's exam season. Or they have 1 or 2 other children in high school who are not sure what major to choose, what university to choose, whether to study abroad or not... With his experience, Duc Huy gives parents a lot of advice and receives warm thanks.
Tomorrow is the chemistry and biology exam, what should candidates pay attention to?
Ho Duc Huy said that now the candidates have completed half of the journey of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the key for candidates to do well in the remaining subjects is to be calm, confident, and prepared. Now the candidates have finished the literature and math exams; if tomorrow, June 27, candidates who choose to take the chemistry and biology exams need to try their best and be careful when taking the multiple choice test.

"Being nervous and anxious about the exam is real and understandable. But candidates should stay healthy, review the test lightly tonight and go to bed early. This year, with the 2018 GeneralEducation Program, the multiple-choice test has many innovations. In the chemistry and biology test, in addition to multiple-choice questions (18 questions), there are also 4 questions and 6 short-answer multiple-choice questions. Candidates should read the test carefully, do the easy questions well, and don't "overthink" - think too much, then you will be calm and do well," said Huy, a male student at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City.
At the same time, according to Ho Duc Huy, parents' support also needs to be subtle. Every parent wants their child to do well on the test, but sometimes life is "studying for talent and taking the test for fate". When the candidates finish a subject today, whether they do math or literature well as expected or not, they should put that subject aside to keep their spirits up for the next exams. "And finally, no matter what the results of the high school graduation exam and university entrance exam are, I hope parents will always accompany their children and respect all decisions of the students afterwards," Duc Huy shared.
I have two final exams tomorrow. Should I rest completely tonight?
Master Tran Anh Khoa, Academic Director at DOL Dinh Luc, who graduated as second in the English Language major at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, said that many people advise that one should rest completely the day before the exam to relax the mind. However, this is not true for everyone.

"Some candidates, including me, feel more anxious and insecure if they don't touch any books before the exam day. Therefore, instead of completely abandoning the books, I still spend time lightly reviewing if I have a very important exam tomorrow. For example, tomorrow, the 2025 high school graduation exam of the 2018 General Education program will test 2 elective subjects such as English and Physics, I will still review tonight," said Anh Khoa.
At the same time, according to Khoa, the key lies in the review mindset. Tonight, candidates should not review like they are racing against time to salvage knowledge, but should review with the goal of synthesizing, strengthening confidence, and maintaining their performance. "This approach will help candidates feel much more secure when entering the exam room for the remaining elective subjects, not too stressed, but also not feeling unsteady because of complete rest," said Master Tran Anh Khoa.
