Today (February 16th), the police of Ward 13, Tan Binh District, are taking statements from those involved to clarify and handle the vandalism incident that occurred in the early morning of the same day at Gia Bao chicken restaurant on Cong Hoa Street.

The person who vandalized the shop has been identified as P. (40 years old, a local resident, working as a ride-hailing driver).

According to the staff's report, P. entered the restaurant to buy chicken to take away. While waiting, P. went back to sit at a table in front of the restaurant and teased DMA (17 years old), who was also sitting nearby.

Apparently, A. is the girlfriend of NHH (18 years old, a male employee of the shop) and she came to the shop to visit.

Seeing his girlfriend being harassed, H. reacted. P. became angry, cursing and pushing H. At this point, P. threw objects at H. and A; he also threw a chair at the restaurant's glass door.

P. went inside the restaurant and continued to hurl insults at H. P. even went to the counter, grabbed a bottle of wine, and threw it, shattering the restaurant's tempered glass door.

Immediately after the incident, the police of Ward 13 arrived and took P., A., H., and the restaurant staff to the police station for questioning and to take their statements.

At the time of the incident, there were two GrabBike drivers waiting to pick up goods for delivery, but they had to avoid getting involved for fear of being implicated.

According to Mr. T. (the owner of the restaurant), A. was hit on the head by a thrown glass, suffering minor scratches; one of the restaurant's tempered glass doors was broken.

On the morning of February 16th, the police arrived to inspect the scene and investigate the incident.
