After the 33rd SEA Games, shooter Trinh Thu Vinh and karate athlete Nguyen Ngoc Tram not only made their mark with professional achievements but also experienced a new turning point when they were recruited into the police force.

Well-deserved recognition for Thu Vinh's efforts.

Following their participation in the 33rd SEA Games, shooter Trinh Thu Vinh and karate fighter Nguyen Ngoc Tram were recruited into the police force.

This information was confirmed by Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Political Affairs Department, Ministry of Public Security , and Head of the People's Public Security Sports Delegation at the 33rd SEA Games.

According to the Culture Newspaper, immediately after the congress, both athletes will complete the procedures to be officially recruited into the police force.

In shooting, Trinh Thu Vinh was one of Vietnam's outstanding athletes at the 33rd SEA Games. The shooter, born in 2000, won two gold medals and set two Games records.

Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Political Affairs Department, Ministry of Public Security, and Head of the People's Public Security Sports Delegation at the 33rd SEA Games, presented a bonus to Trinh Thu Vinh.

Specifically, in the women's 10m air pistol individual event, Trinh Thu Vinh won the gold medal with 242.7 points, breaking the SEA Games record. Following that, she and her teammates Nguyen Thuy Trang and Trieu Thi Hoa Hong went on to win the gold medal in the women's 10m air pistol team event, simultaneously setting a new SEA Games record.

In addition, Trinh Thu Vinh also won a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event when competing with Pham Quang Huy.

Nguyen Ngoc Tram joins the police force.

In karate, Nguyen Ngoc Tram continued to be part of the Vietnamese national women's team kata lineup. Competing alongside Bui Ngoc Nhi and Hoang Thi Thu Uyen, Ngoc Tram contributed to helping the Vietnamese karate team successfully defend their gold medal in this event at the 33rd SEA Games.

In the final match, the Vietnamese team performed the Tomari Bassai kata with high uniformity and precision, defeating the Thai team to win the overall victory. After the SEA Games, Ngoc Tram was also officially enlisted in the police force.
