"I thank my teachers and family for always accompanying and encouraging me during the past time," Quoc Thai shared.
Not only did he get high scores in the high school graduation exam, the village school boy also has many other proud achievements.
In grade 10, Quoc Thai won third prize in the provincial English competition. In grade 11, he continued to win second prize in the provincial English competition and achieved 8.0 IELTS.
With his outstanding scores and achievements, Quoc Thai plans to apply to the Logistics and International Business major, a high-quality training program at the Foreign Trade University.
Quoc Thai said that to achieve the current results, he mainly studied in class and did exercises according to the outlines given by the teachers, without reviewing additional exam questions or documents online. At any stage, he focused on completing all the exercises, not cramming at the "last minute" time.
Commenting on the D07 exam, the new valedictorian shared that the math and chemistry questions were highly classified, while the English question was quite difficult.

Quoc Thai revealed that although he was born into a family where both parents are teachers, he was not pressured to choose a learning method.
“My parents always accompany, support and encourage me to live with my passion. I not only like studying math, chemistry, English but also have interests in fashion , listening to music, reading books, going to the gym and am a fan of G-Dragon - a Korean rapper, singer, musician, and businessman,” Quoc Thai added.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Trinh, Quoc Thai’s father, expressed his pride in his son’s achievements. “Thai doesn’t go to extra classes much, he mainly studies at school. When he comes home, he arranges his own study time,” Mr. Trinh shared.
According to Mr. Trinh, after consulting with friends, his family let Thai learn English through cartoons from a young age. Therefore, the family often plays age-appropriate movies for Thai to watch and learn at the same time.
Seeing his passion for foreign languages, his family always encouraged and supported him to pursue his passion. “The results that Thai achieved in the recent exam are the result of a serious self-study process and the enthusiastic support from his teachers,” Mr. Trinh confided.

“For nearly 60 years, Le Hoan High School has had many students who achieved valedictorian status. However, when we received the good news from Quoc Thai, we were still very proud and honored.
His achievements are a great source of encouragement for all teachers and students in the school. I believe that with his studious spirit, Quoc Thai will go further in his studies and career,” said Mr. Dung.
