To date, the record for the world's largest jackfruit ever reported by the media belongs to a special jackfruit in Mr. John Kutty's garden, Kerala state, India.

The farmer said that one day, while climbing a tree to pick fruit as usual, he felt something strange. With the help of his relatives, he harvested a jackfruit weighing 51.5 kg and measuring 97 cm long. Its enormous weight made it difficult for a normal person to lift. He then informed the nearest agricultural officer to confirm the record.

Mr. Kutty confirmed that this was definitely the heaviest jackfruit in the world at the time of its discovery. This jackfruit of course attracted the attention of the whole region. Many villagers flocked to Mr. Kutty’s house just to “admire” the strange jackfruit.

Previously, the world record for the heaviest jackfruit was recorded at 42.73 kg with a length of 57.15 cm, set in Pune, also in India in 2016. The continuous appearance of these giant jackfruits is not only a race between owners but also an opportunity for rural areas to make their mark on the world map of agricultural products.

The Guinness World Record for the largest jackfruit belongs to a jackfruit weighing 42.73 kg, but many people have recorded larger discoveries. Not only the above case, even in Vietnam, many farmers have caused a stir when harvesting super-giant jackfruits that exceed the Guinness record. However, not everyone seeks out record-setting organizations to acknowledge their super impressive achievements.
