Improve the quality of operations of social insurance and health insurance collection service organizations

Online conference to evaluate the results of developing voluntary social insurance and family health insurance participants of collection service organizations in 2024; directions and tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the provincial and district Social Insurance signed authorization contracts with 7 social insurance and health insurance collection service organizations, with a network of collection agents widely distributed in communes, wards and towns; organized professional training courses for all collection staff. The collection service organizations organized conferences to promote and develop participants on a quarterly, monthly and weekly basis and periodically evaluated the results of implementing the plan targets.

The collection service organizations have developed 22,284 voluntary social insurance participants and 190,194 self-paid health insurance participants, exceeding the assigned target by 28,554 people; contributing to increasing the number of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance participants in the whole province to 1,452,993 people; health insurance alone has 1,273,517 participants, the coverage rate reached 97% of the population, reaching 100.4% of the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and analyzing the existing problems and limitations and proposed solutions to improve the quality of activities of social insurance and health insurance collection service organizations, such as assigning targets and evaluating the performance of collection staff; calculating remuneration for collaborators; monitoring, managing and taking care of customers of collection service organizations, etc.

In 2025, collection service organizations will continue to review, consolidate, and expand collection points to communes, wards, and towns. Assign targets for developing voluntary social insurance and self-paid health insurance participants to each employee and collection point. Closely coordinate with the Steering Committee for developing social insurance and health insurance participants at the commune level to mobilize group leaders, village chiefs, sub-area chiefs, and prestigious people in the locality to become collaborators... Strive to develop 47,459 voluntary social insurance participants; 202,406 self-paid health insurance participants.
