On the morning of October 7, the Department of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy - Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize a training course to update knowledge and foreign affairs skills for officials and civil servants of Ha Tinh province and Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Linh emphasized: In recent times, Ha Tinh has focused on consistently, synchronously and effectively implementing the foreign policy of the Party and State. At the same time, it regularly focuses on training and improving the quality of the staff working in foreign affairs with strong political will, solid expertise, proficient skills, and meeting the requirements of the task.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Linh suggested that the trainees attending the training course seriously absorb the contents, continue to improve their knowledge of foreign affairs, apply it effectively at their agencies, units and localities, contribute to effectively implementing foreign affairs policies in the new period, effectively serve the foreign affairs work of the provinces, and at the same time connect the foreign affairs activities of the provinces and cities under Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The training course to update knowledge and foreign affairs skills for foreign affairs officials and civil servants will contribute to equipping officials and civil servants of the provinces and Ha Tinh with basic knowledge related to foreign affairs work in the new situation to better apply it to specific conditions in units and localities.

During 1.5 days (from October 7 to 8), more than 180 trainees from provincial departments, agencies, unions and provinces under Emulation Cluster No. 3 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Da Nang, Hue) will be taught by lecturers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on topics such as: Foreign reception work at the local level; economic diplomacy for development; signing and implementing international agreements after implementing two-level local government; local consular work; digital diplomacy and modern foreign communication.

The training course contributes to equipping cadres and civil servants with basic knowledge and skills, effectively applying them to specific conditions in the unit and locality, helping cadres grasp the requirements, goals and tasks in the coming time.

This is also an opportunity for foreign affairs units and officials to exchange experiences, connect, share with each other, and coordinate to effectively implement the foreign policies of the Party, State and localities.
