Quang Yen: Updating new knowledge for 179 village and neighborhood chiefs

In order to improve the quality and effectiveness of village and neighborhood chiefs' activities in the 2025-2027 term, especially to equip village and neighborhood chiefs with the necessary knowledge and skills to participate in activities for the first time, on the afternoon of December 24, the Quang Yen Town Political Training Center opened a training course to update new knowledge for 179 village and neighborhood chiefs in 19 communes and wards in the town.

Participating in the training course, the village and neighborhood chiefs listened to Comrade Cao Ngoc Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, convey the topics: Socio -economic situation of Quang Yen Town in 2024; Socio-economic development plan of the town in 2025; some professional tasks of village and neighborhood chiefs in the 2025-2027 term; Regulation No. 10-QD/TU, dated September 26, 2017 of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on the functions and tasks of village, hamlet and neighborhood party cells under the Party Committees of communes, wards and towns in the province; Instruction No. 12-HD/BTCTW dated July 6, 2018 of the Central Organizing Committee on some issues to improve the quality of Party cell activities, from preparation work, Party cell activity steps for regular activities and thematic activities; Party cell activity content, criteria framework for assessing the quality of Party cell activities; Instruction No. 05-HD/BTCTU, dated May 19, 2024 on building a framework of criteria for building and implementing the model of "Four-good Party Cells" and "Four-good Grassroots Party Committees" in the Provincial Party Committee.

Through the training course, village and neighborhood chiefs are updated and improved in their knowledge, skills and expertise. From there, they creatively and flexibly apply their knowledge and skills in handling arising tasks in the community; propagate and mobilize people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and actively develop the economy, build cultural life in residential areas, implement grassroots democracy regulations, village covenants and conventions, maintain political security and social order and safety in the locality, especially contributing to building Quang Yen town into a city in 2025.
