Capacity building for grassroots information officers

On October 21, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen organized a training conference to improve the capacity of officials working in grassroots information work in the province.

The conference took place over 3 days (from October 21 to 23) with the participation of nearly 200 trainees who are cadres, civil servants, public employees, grassroots propagandists - non-professional activists in villages and residential groups of 30 communes and wards.

In the program, students are instructed on: Forms of information at the grassroots level; skills in choosing topics and producing propaganda news and articles; practicing writing news and articles and posting them on electronic information pages, producing radio programs; propaganda on digital transformation, sustainable poverty reduction, new rural construction; management, use and behavior on social networks; instructions on using the Thai Nguyen province's source information system...

Through the training course, trainees are updated with basic information mechanisms, policies and strategies; practice professional skills in information and propaganda work at the commune level, contributing to improving the quality of essential information serving the people.

The training conference is one of the contents of Project 6 - Communication and information poverty reduction - under the National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction in Thai Nguyen province.
